It's really easy for the calories to pile up when they're in liquid form. A few other nutritional strategies that have succeeded for people working on burning belly fat: eating more fiber, eating more fruits and veggies, snacking on a handful of almonds every day, eliminating fast food from their diet, eliminating refined and processed carbohydrates, and concentrating on eating real, natural food - which isn't that easy to find in your typical supermarket, and not as prevalent as you'd expect even in the typical health food store. Also, exercise is essential. Resistance or strength training and high intensity interval workouts can do wonders for anyone who wants to burn belly fat.
